Struggling with depression? Here’s a radical therapy approach: go to the nearest dog park with the mission of petting at least three random dogs. After the three brief yet intense reps of dog petting you will come back home a slightly less depressed self.
And if you are “not a dog person”, then clearly you have not yet encountered a sufficient amount of dogs to become a dog person.
Plus, petting random doggos means being outside, on fresh air, perhaps with sunshine on your face, moving, and being open to new situations, which are all good things.
So go pet a dog, just do it!
