Being online for the majority of my life, I have seen some nasty stuff over the years. Being a curious cat, I would basically click on anything and everything that caught my attention, going dome some rabbit holes I wish I maybe hadn't.
What managed to shock me recently, was a particular picture from the Russian invasion of Ukraine. While I won't post the actual picture, I will describe it.
The picture was posted by the Russian side, somewhere not far from the frontlines. On the picture was a literal brick of human bodies, dozens of dead Russian soldiers crushed into a cube by a car baler for easier storage and transportation.
I've heard Russians refer to the battle of Bakhmut as the мясору́бка, or the meat grinder, which I thought was graphic enough, but a cube of crushed human bodies took it to another level for me. Imagine doing this to people, to your own fallen comrades. If this doesn't convey the value of human lives for the Russian regime, then I don't think anything else can.
